Thus do, do, do, the little aliens,
Three billion dead, then they’re gone again.
They zap and they zoom, then vanish away,
Leaving us all in disarray!
The little green men have paid us another visit, leaving Earth in ruins and the united governments, not happy. These latter concocted a bold retaliation, forming an irresistible space fleet … of 1 ship. Here are the keys, the manual, the bad guys are over there. Good luck and come back victorious.
I felt the same way when I opened this game as I did in front of Terrorpods, an unfathomable bewilderment at a futuristic interface that goes beep-beep and flashes. I press random keys on the keyboard, which result in displaying various indicators on the screen, all more abstruse than the last. After a few minutes of fiddling, I don’t even get a liberating message telling me that I’ve failed my mission or that I’m too rubbish to try. Nothing!
I can’t even lose…
