Do you remember the Magic Trolls, those hideous figurines with fluorescent long hair? Well, here’s the game adaptation.
The first version dates back to 1992 (Amiga 500 and 600); the second, from which these images are taken, was released the following year and makes use of the AGA chips (Amiga 1200 and CD32). The backgrounds are even more colourful, to the point of burning your eyes.
The goal of the game is to collect a certain number of baby trolls and then reach the exit of the level. Trolls would later serve as the model for another game, Oscar, in which several elements, such as bonus levels or the use of a yo-yo, would be reused…
Too chaotic for my taste, but it should appeal to younger players.
