Here’s a remake of Robotron: 2084 (arcade, 1982), that game where you controlled a little guy, all alone, in the middle of a swarm of robots. The objective was to shoot anything in sight. One joystick was used to move, and another to shoot (this way, you could move left while shooting right).

In Llamatron, the little guy is replaced by a llama, and the enemies take on some pretty bizarre forms (heads, hamburgers, toilet rolls…). It’s completely insane! Plus, the beeps and flashes of every kind will melt both your retinas and your eardrums. It’s also the only game I know where you can face off against a toilet bowl, and that deserves to be noted!

Update:

After years of searching, I solemnly announce that I’ve found a second one: Manic Miner.

And in the same vein: Satryn Deluxe (2021).

Where to download it?
