For those unfamiliar with Roger Rabbit, or who might need a refresher, here’s a quick catch-up session: Baby Herman et Roger Rabbit. For a deeper dive, check out: Panique au pique-nique, Lapin Looping, and Bobo Bidon. Let me know if any of the links stop working!

Today’s episode is interactive. Baby Herman has once again slipped past the watchful eyes of our zany rabbit, and it’s up to you to help him find the little rascal before mum gets back.
This isn’t the first interactive cartoon, so you know the drill: over-the-top animations, digitised voices; a feast for the eyes and ears … at the expense of everything else. At least, with a properly configured emulator, you’ll avoid most of the slowdown. That’s something, I suppose.

Indeed, while the atmosphere might seem promising at first, it quickly gives way to frustration. Blame the cryptic controls and the heinous time limit, which force you to replay the same scenes repeatedly, clueless about what you’re doing wrong. In the end, I found it more fun to just watch the walkthrough video. That’s when I realised the game was tragically short—just six screens in total!

A practical detail: the six floppy disks won’t be much help since a hard drive installation is mandatory (and back in the day, very few users had one). A pre-installed version is available on Planet Emulation under “Commodore Amiga - Hardfiles - HDF”. On WinUAE, once the Workbench is set up and the game downloaded in “hdf” format, click on “Hard drives”, “Add Hardfile”, enter the file path, cross your fingers, and start the emulator…
