Nice of MicroProse to, for once, offer an action-oriented flight game that’s actually accessible to mere mortals. Sure, it may seem a lot simpler, even downright basic, but I’m afraid I must report that I still haven’t got a clue! Could my long hours in front of Air Combat have somehow turned my brain to mush?
Where are my targets? How do I select them? How do I shoot? And when, in a moment of peak frustration, I deliberately crash; I don’t even get the satisfaction of witnessing any flashy pyrotechnics, nor any sound.
The original dates back to 1989 on PC.
