You see, even on the Amiga, we fragged!

Imagine a cross between Bomberman and Alien Breed exclusively for two players (going head-to-head, of course). The screen is split in two, and the protagonists start the game in their bases, each located at opposite corners of the battlefield. The objective? Find your opponent and pop his clogs (the game’s title may have given that away).

At the start, you’re armed with a small-caliber and a few grenades, but the play area is littered with little treats to pick up: ammo, cash, explosives (including mines), and various power-ups. You’re free to blow up walls to speed things up and spend your money on new weapons or some gadgets…

Sadly, I didn’t get the chance to give it a proper go, since I couldn’t find anyone willing to play a free, amateur game from fifteen years ago, on an Amiga emulator. How bizarre…

One tip for the road: at the first screen, avoid accidentally selling your gun (good advice, isn’t it?).

The planned sequel was never completed. Instead, I have this: Streets of Rogue (2019).
