The adaptation of the comic book of the same name, which was published in Micro News magazine in the late ’80s. It’s set in Paris, aliens land, and start killing people. You alone can stop them.

I like this “old-school” graphic adventure game. The interface is reduced to a minimum: you simply click in the scene with the left mouse button to move, examine, or pick something up; and with the right mouse button to use an item in the inventory. After all, we don’t need more than that. Unfortunately, everything moves quite slowly, at least in the emulated Amiga version. The succession of puzzles is also very linear, and you’re not even allowed to leave an area as long as there’s something to do there. You might say this saves time, but the feeling of being on rails doesn’t make you want to play again once you’ve seen the end.

And otherwise, it’s the usual fare: nonsensical puzzles, offbeat humor (tinged with “Parisian wit”), objects the size of a pixel to uncover … wipe your glasses well!

I would only criticize the reduced size of the game screen (flanked by a wide black band), and the annoying sound effects, especially the hero’s footsteps. It sounds like he’s wearing iron-shod clogs.

By the way, in the third image, I’m putting into practice something I saw in Looney Tunes—I think it was Daffy Duck who slid a piece of paper under a door to retrieve a key left in the lock… Ah, if only I had remembered my lessons as well as my cartoons!

The PC-DOS version available on Abandonware-France (PC) looks significantly nicer. I believe it also features digitized voices (though probably not in French). However, don’t ask me how to install it!
