The sequel to Arkanoid brings a few new features: a perpetual “3-ball” mode, the double paddle, the “ghost” paddle, moving bricks, and the option to choose between two exits at the end of levels…
Unfortunately, the Amiga version is considerably less smooth than its arcade counterpart, and the graphics lose some of their sharpness. On the other hand, the arcade emulator doesn’t allow you to play with the mouse. Your call.
In 1997, the stunning third instalment, Arkanoid: DoH It Again, was released on the Super Nintendo.
