After achieving great success in arcades, the most famous clone of Breakout (1976) makes its way to the Amiga.
By moving the paddle horizontally at the bottom of the screen, you must return a ball so that it destroys all the (destructible) bricks in the level one by one. The ball accelerates as you break bricks, sometimes releasing a bonus that you must catch on the fly with the paddle. The effect varies depending on the type of bonus represented by a letter: paddle extension (“E”), ball slowdown (“S”), ball that sticks to the paddle (“C”), 3 balls (“D”), lasers (“L”), skip to next level (“B”) or extra life (“P”). To make things more challenging, little critters fall from the top of the screen and interfere with the ball’s trajectory.
