Also known as Atron 5000. It’s an amateur clone of the famous arcade game, Tron (1982), itself inspired by the film of the same name. The original game featured four mini-games played in rotation, but only the first, the futuristic motorbike race, has lasted in memory.
Each of the two players controls a motorbike, in a flat virtual space, surrounded by a wall and viewed from above. The bikes race at full speed, unable to stop, leaving behind a persistent trail, which turns into a wall of light that you or your opponent might crash into. The play area shrinks as the two bikes “draw” their path, and the round ends when one of them crashes.
This variant is playable by two players in split-screen. The field of view is very limited, and a few bonuses spice things up (acceleration, deceleration, missiles, and the appearance of a wall right in front of your opponent). In single player mode, the computer boasts insane reflexes, which it compensates for by being as sharp as a sea slug. Survive long enough and it’ll trap itself in a triangle.
In the same genre, I prefer Rasterbike.
