This one reminds me of the start of Sly Spy (arcade, 1989). Two guys are ejected from a plane, sharing a single parachute. Parachute Joust is thus the first free-fall brawler! The game ends when the altitude counter hits zero, and the loser splats. Fun, for about five minutes tops.
