The game adapted from the film Lethal Weapon. Feel free to play as either member of the famous cop duo (which, by the way, is the only connection to the film).
It’s a fairly conventional action game in the style, but remarkably easy to control and fast-paced—qualities not exactly common on the Amiga. Unfortunately, that’s not enough. It’s incredibly repetitive. Few weapons (one, in fact?), hardly any power-ups, and all the enemies look the same. I also regret that Murtaugh seems to fight exactly like Riggs, using a semi-automatic pistol and circular kicks. At least the former deals more damage at range, while the latter excels in close combat.
And honestly, Lethal Weapon without a two-player mode feels like a rubber chicken missing its pulley!
