A bland clone of Zaxxon (arcade, 1982), the first shooter presented in isometric (or axonometric) 3D, giving players the delightful opportunity to steer their ship across two axes – and promptly crash into the scenery while trying to dodge enemy fire.
The first level is tolerable. The problem is, nothing changes after that. You control a tank in level 2 instead of a plane, but then it’s back to shooting the same five or six enemy types, with no bosses in sight. There are secondary weapons, but I only managed to activate them by accident. The most aggravating part? Having to wait a good 20 seconds after losing a life before regaining control of your ship. To top it all off, the same levels loop endlessly. Forever.
