Fire Power is a one-on-one tank game (against the computer or a human opponent in split-screen). The objective is to invade the enemy’s base, steal their flag, and bring it back home. Easier said than done when you see the number of guard towers and the relentless enemy helicopters…
You can choose your tank from three types (light, medium, heavy), plant mines, free allied prisoners, and escort them back to base to earn extra lives.

Everything would be fine if it weren’t for these two annoying issues: the lack of visibility in two-player mode (it’s hard to avoid running over a mine unless you crawl like a snail) and the fact that you frequently get stuck in the rubble, forced to lose a life just to continue.

A remake was released in 1995 on 3DO: Return Fire, followed three years later by Return Fire 2 (on PC).
