An essential shooter, featuring well-crafted visuals complemented by fantastic music! I’m trying to diversify my superlatives.
The final scene is also worth its weight in gold…
The weapon system is particularly original. You collect blueprints during your mission, which can be exchanged for new weapons once you reach the factory (the blue dome in which you must land). Each weapon consumes energy, and the total energy consumption of all your weapons must not exceed the amount produced by your reactor (which can also be upgraded in the same way, by collecting the appropriate blueprints). This forces you to experiment with different combinations and make compromises. Note that your weapons don’t disappear after a life is lost!
If it crashes at startup, try emulating an Amiga 500 with a memory extension (for example, “A500+ 4 MB Fast RAM”).
