The title screen is quite something, isn’t it? It’s a Ferrari F40. And the game gives you the chance to drive it.

Compared to the previous title, the graphics have clearly been upgraded, as well as the animations, starting with those of our car, which treats us to stunning 360-degree spins.

And as before, you zoom around American roads, this time chasing corrupt cops involved in a stolen car racket…
There are a few new features on the agenda: a map (press “F2”) to choose the best route when the road forks, narrow highway junctions to navigate, police checkpoints to clear, and even car chases with honest cops, who, by all means, will try to slap you with a speeding ticket. All this while trying to avoid crashing into other cars … but that should be easy, since there aren’t any! The bad cops stole them all.

What else to say? The sky is pretty … yes, a lovely blue sky … all gradient-y … turning purple at sunset … charming…

Gnnn … AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

Absolutely uncontrollable!
How many mugs were tricked by the pictures on the box?

Note that your position doesn’t appear on the map, but the number of the road you’re on is displayed top right of the screen.

By the way, it took me a while to figure out why the speedometer stayed stuck at “204”. It’s because I accidentally pressed “F4”, which converted the figure to miles per hour. Don’t go thinking I’m crawling along!
