The fourth image comes from the following episodes (except for 3, where the character is replaced by a woman with logs in front of her door; and 9, 17, 19, and 20, where he is dressed as Santa Claus).

It’s a series of clones of Emerald Mine with cute graphics and particularly intricate levels, which I like to call “à la Fort Boyard”, meaning they consist of small successive challenges, leaving little room for improvisation. Of course, when you mess up on the last one, you have to start all over again, and that’s incredibly frustrating.
[Have they heard of Fort Boyard? – Ed.]

Bond Mine would go on to have numerous sequels (about twenty that I know of) but lacking any significant innovation.

Be careful, for Bond Mine 1, the first level is difficult (just how I like it) but not representative. I found the subsequent levels too simple compared to those of Bond Mine 5 (the one I knew as a teenager). I haven’t had the time to try the other 18 titles yet. I’ll probably be tempted by 3, which brings solid arguments, plump and wobbly…
