Did you dream of a scuba diving simulation in shark-infested waters, in the middle of a nuclear waste dump, during a bombing, and at the end of which you would foil an alien conspiracy and save the world? Look no further!
Games were sophisticated back in my day. Plus, it started well, since they let us kill dolphins with torpedo launchers.
Alas, I quickly became disillusioned, between unresponsive controls, an inventory of items that you wonder how to use, recurrent sudden deaths, exasperating loading times, and silly puzzles… It took me ages to figure out how to get out of level 1. The second one is even worse. I’ll give you the solution right away, you’ll thank me later: press “F12” and “Quit”.
Now, go try Subnautica, or even SILT (2022).
